Jim Bachmann

Jim Bachmann

With a mellow, easy voice and wise songwriting that hints of a life of honest living

Jim Bachmann has been entertaining the Phoenix scene over the past decade, sharing the stage with heroes and friends such as Billy Joe Shaver, Whitey Morgan and the 78’s, Dallas Moore, Shinyribs, The SteelDrivers, Ramsay Midwood, Mike and the Moonpies, Tony Martinez, The Reeves Brothers, Jeremy Pinnell, Paul Cauthen and more. Bachmann’s music blends Americana, Roots, Blues and Country into a sound that stays true to tradition while serving up his own blend of Sonoran Desert soaked good-timin’ stonerbilly.

Bachmann uses his geetar to blend meaty chunks of blues, country, honky tonk, and other rootsy sounds to create an enticing sonic concoction of Americana… ~ Phoenix New Times

Rough-edged country singers have long been one of the Valley’s best exports. Guitarman/singer Jim Bachmann carries the torch well. His gravelly voice and pared-down country sound will strike a chord with Outlaw and old-timey country fans looking for edgy but rootsy songs about hard jobs, fast women and strong drinks. ~ Traintracks.org
