30 Acres Of Fun

As one of the largest family entertainment centers in Arizona, Golfland Splashpad spans over 30 acres of land. It offers a variety of admission options, including single-day tickets, season passes, and group rates.

The park is divided into two main areas: Golfland, which features mini-golf courses, go-karts, bumper boats, and arcade games, and Sunsplash, which is the water park section with all of the water attractions.

Water Attractions

One of the park’s most popular attractions is the Master Blaster water coaster, which sends riders on a thrilling, high-speed journey through twists, turns, and drops. Other notable rides include Thunder Falls, a 50-foot-tall freefall slide, and The Revolution, a high-speed water slide with multiple twists and turns.

For those who prefer to stay dry, Golfland Sunsplash also offers laser tag, mini-bowling, and a variety of arcade games. In addition, the park’s food court offers a range of dining options, including burgers, pizza, and Mexican food.

The History of Golfland Sunsplash

Golfland Sunsplash has a rich history dating back to the 1950s when its founder, Lou Fusz, built the first miniature golf course in the St. Louis area. Fusz’s concept of creating a family-friendly destination with high-quality mini-golf courses and other attractions proved to be a huge success. As a result, he expanded his business to other locations throughout the Midwest.

In 1977, Fusz moved his family and business to Arizona, where he built the first Golfland location in Mesa. The park featured two 18-hole miniature golf courses, batting cages, and an arcade, and it quickly became a popular destination for families and groups of friends.

Over the years, Golfland expanded its offerings, adding more attractions like go-karts, bumper boats, laser tag, and a water park. Then, in 1992, Golfland Sunsplash opened, combining the two parks into one massive entertainment center.

Since then, Golfland Sunsplash has continued to grow and evolve, adding new attractions and features to keep up with changing trends and customer demands. Today, it remains one of Mesa’s most popular family entertainment destinations, attracting visitors from around Arizona.
