  2. Arizona Repertory Theater for Kids presents Moana JR this Friday and Saturday at the Combs Performing Arts Center in San Tan Valley. Disney’s Moana JR. is a 60-minute musical adaptation of the 2016 Disney animated film, bringing the adventures of Moana and her village to life on stage. Arizona Repertory Theatre for Kids is dedicated to providing a full theatrical art experience for youth in their schools and communities. Win-win combo right there!

You’ve Got a Friend in the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center this Friday as Nashville’s Bill Griese, aka “Sweet Baby James,” Shower’s The People with a solo-acoustic evening of JT’s greatest hits and gems. The Walking Man and The Frozen Man down the Country Road by Mexico and California, along the River will be there even in Fire And Rain. And don’t forget Copperline Carey, ‘cause it’s Her Town Too. Come on people, Don’t Let Me Be Lonely Tonight, Line ‘em Up…How Sweet It will be.

  4. Tc’s Pub and Grill in Queen Creek is bringing the fun again this Friday. Touted as Arizona’s Best Party Band Period…Johnny Anonymous will be hitting the stage getting the party started. Cause, that’s what they do. So if you’re in the mood for dancing, drinking and partyin’ it up, this one’s for you.

  5. San Tan Mountain Regional Park invites everyone to come on down to the park and partake in their 100 Miles in 100 Days Challenge wrap up Celebration this Saturday. If you were a participant in the challenge, this is the day to celebrate your accomplishments with friends, fellow participants and park staff. Share stories about your journeys, enjoy both sweet and healthy snacks, and of course, receive your coveted limited-edition Challenge t-shirt!

  6. Taxes are not free BUT tax help is free this Saturday at the Queen Creek Library. Volunteers with the AARP Foundation Tax-Aide are offering free tax preparation help to anyone from 9am-3pm. Bring your tax documents to get help from trained volunteers, and file electronically on-site. Sessions are first-come, first-served.

  7. The Queen Creek Performing Arts Center is serving up Sunday right this week with Take It Easy. Journey back to the 1970’s with illustrious folk-rock artists The Eagles, The Byrds, Carole King, The Doors, Bob Dylan and Linda Ronstadt and their greatest hits “Hotel California,” “Running on Empty,” “You’ve Got A Friend,” “You’re No Good,” “Take It Easy” and much more!
