  1. She’s back! Due to overwhelming fan demand, multi-platinum, record-breaking superstar Ariana Grande has added more dates to her Sweetener World Tour. One of those performances happens to be Thursday at Talking Stick Resort Arena in Downtown Phoenix. Thank u, next.

  2. San Tan Valley is bringing the goods this Friday through Sunday. Local goods…of the arts, crafts and vintage flavor that is with the Cotton Gin Market at The Big Tin Cotton Gin. Perfect timing for your holiday shopping needs. Go ahead, people, keep it local.

  3. Speaking of shopping and keeping it local, Phoenix is bringing the local finds AND fun this Friday through Sunday as well with Phoenix Festival of the Arts. Buy local art, enjoy performances, feast at the food trucks. What more could you ask for? Well, maybe about volunteering or sponsorship opportunities? You can do that too. Win-Win.

  4. Join Tempe this Saturday and celebrate the magic of the holiday season with their 20th Annual Fantasy of Lights Boat Parade. Where does Tempe host said Boat Parade you ask? Well, Tempe Town Lake and Tempe Beach Park of course. Watch as 50+ festively decorated boats float on the lake. Also enjoy food trucks, Holiday Market shopping AND beer and wine all while watching live entertainment on the main stage.

  5. Would it even be Christmas time in the valley without “The Father of Shock Rock”? Nope. This Saturday, Celebrity Theatre in Phoenix is hosting Alice Cooper’s 18th Annual Christmas Pudding Fundraiser benefiting Alice Cooper’s Solid Rock Teen Centers. This show is sure to be epic. Wish I could go and rock out but the show is sold out, so that’s not good. Bah humbug.

  6. The Salt River Brass decks the Mesa Arts Center concert hall with a Sunday afternoon of holiday classics for children of all ages. Embrace the wonder of the season and ring in the holiday spirit with a Valley tradition, The Holiday Pops! Join in to make new family memories with a joyful and soulful blend of holiday favorites. Aww.

  7. Finishing up our week oh so right at the Pressroom in Downtown Phoenix on Sunday. Saving the best for last in my humble opinion. Drum roll, please. Alright, here it is. Wait for it. Arizona’s first Fried Chicken and Beer – Chimac Festival. Yes, fried chicken and beer. In case you didn’t know, Chimac is a Korean word for the pairing of fried chicken and beer. You heard me right, fried chicken and beer. Join in the fried goodness fun with over 12 local fried chicken businesses at this amazing sounding Asian inspired food festival.

And that’s a wrap! Thanks for listening to 7 Things To Do This Week, a World Of Arizona Podcast series. See you next week, and remember, more information on all these events can be found at worldofarizona.com.
